Bio for events
Lev Natan, draws deeply from the spiritual wisdom traditions in his work with change-makers who care deeply about the web-of-life and are committed to social change. He offers practical and spiritual guidance for viable choices at home, work and in the community.
Lev utilizes sound meditation practices (using didgeridoo, tuning forks, vocal toning, flute, singing bowls, and jaw harp) to create a fertile environment for his clients to access their deeper intelligence and creative imagination to effectively navigate life, relationships, career, and health in these poignant times of accelerated complexity.
He works with socially & ecologically conscious organizational leaders, entrepreneurs & business owners, holistic practitioners, activists, and anyone who cares deeply about humanity and the earth and is committed to creating more effective, meaningful and balanced ways of bringing their mission to life. He is committed to guiding our world towards a future that is wise, courageous, and aligned with principles and values that are humane, have integrity, and hold life and nature as sacred.
Towards this end, he is initiating the Alliance for a Viable Future (AVF), with it’s first year of new membership in 2019. He is incubating AVF through The Graduate Institute’s Masters in Organizational Leadership under the guidance of Mel Toomey and Al Bhatt, and his trusted Council Board of Advisors. He is certified as an Integrative Sound and Music Practitioner through The New York Open Center's Sound & Music Institute and an Empowerment Life Coach through the Empowerment Institute.
Sarah Chase Natan (founder of the Brooklyn Acupuncture Project) has been working side-by-side with Lev since 2014 in their unique Acupuncture Sound Bath events for health and wellbeing. We are excited to offer this combination in the workplace, for personalized attention. Acupuncture has been shown to shift the nervous system into a "rest and recover" state. From here a range of imbalances can be righted: muscle pain, digestive difficulty, insomnia, mental and emotional stress, fatigue and more. We look forward to bringing acupuncture to your team in an easy and accessible way.
Sarah began her exploration of Chinese Medicine at the Oregon College of Oriental Medicine in 2002 and graduated with a masters degree in 2006 after spending over one year living and studying in southern China. She is a nationally certified herbalist and shiatsu practitioner as well as NY state licensed acupuncturist. She has been fortunate to learn medicine traditions with Heiner Freuhoff, Lonny Jarret, Thea Elijah, Hua Ching Ni, the Wu Sheng’an family in Xi’an, and the good elders of the Secoya community Northeastern Ecuador. A thorough pulse diagnosis guides her acupuncture, body work, and herbal treatments as Serra hopes to encourage the highest expression of health and wellbeing in all the people she works with. Serving through community acupuncture in Brooklyn for over seven years and treating in South and Central America for the past four years, Serra has assisted thousands of people with many different needs and confidently treats everything from body pain to babesiosis to broken heart, wholeheartedly and without hesitation. She started the Brooklyn Acupuncture Project in 2007 and is grateful to the community for making it the amazing place it is! She will be beginning a new private practice in Stockbridge, MA in August of 2017.
"Developing this new dimension of my business is becoming a spiritual process as opposed to a mundane thing that needs to be done. This work is for anyone who is ready to have your life, and your business transformed in a huge way."
-Tarra Christoff PhD. Career & Business Coach
"It was as if, by focusing on the long term legacy, I was actually free, to tend to the activities that seemed small on the surface, but that actually were part of a network...by focusing on the legacy, you'll be creating a future memory that's fun, purposeful and challenging."
Dean Adams, Documentary Film Journalist
"The space that Lev created with his presence, intuition, and flexible responsiveness allowed me to turn my attention inward and carve out a larger, freer space to navigate...I recommend Lev to anyone who is available to change, and ready to inhabit presence more fully."
Jason Stern, Publisher
Founder of Luminary Publishing
“You integrate earth and nature based wisdom with very practical real-world skills. I needed the spirituality to support the practical work so that it didn’t feel boring or like homework. It deeply resonated with me. I couldn’t have taken a “business” course otherwise. It would never have occurred to me”
